Prince Harry has returned from duty serving as an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan, only to find himself in the firing line of the British and international press.
His arguably flippant remarks in an interview, stating that he had killed Taliban fighters and that his fighting skills on games consoles had translated well into his helicopter attack skills, have caused uproar from a Taliban spokesman and raised a few eyebrows in Britain of those who believe he has made himself even more of a target for insurgents than he was before. Others have bemoaned his apparent glamorisation of killing and belittling of life as something that can be extinguished from afar at the touch of a button.

Olympic Missiles To Be Installed On London Flats
Missile batteries will be placed on the roof of upmarket residential flats in London as part of planned defences for the upcoming Olympics.
The high-velocity-missiles will be placed on the flat roof of a converted former factory near to the Olympic stadium that is now home to upmarket flats.
The missiles, which travel three times faster than the speed of sound, are part of a network of defences that would be used in the event of an airborne attack on the Olympic venue.
They will be tested this week as part of the military's six- day trial of its ground-based air defence systems ahead of the Games
The building where the missiles will be installed forms part of a Grade II-listed gated redevelopment of the former Bryant and May match factory.
During the Olympics, security measures will also see typhoon jets and helicopters patrol the skies.
Meanwhile, a 23,000-strong force of security guards, including soldiers, will be on duty alongside 12,000 police officers.

Victoria Beckham left her life multi-million life behind today to visit disadvantaged children in rural Kentucky. She was joined on the visit, which was held on behalf of charity Save the Children, by her 10-year-old son Brooklyn. Accompanied by Mark Shriver, Managing Director of Save the Children, the Beckhams took part in a number of literacy and physical activity programs run by the charity. The aim of their visit was to help advocate for an equal start for all children. One in six children in America lives in poverty, a figure that jumps to one in five in rural areas. This poverty leads to other problems such as poor literacy, poor emotional development and obesity. Following her trip, Victoria commented: "Seeing Save the Children (FOTO:DUKAS/REX)

Robert Mcnamara Dies Aged 93 - 06 Jul 2009
Mandatory Credit: Photo by Rex Features ( 961733n )
FORMER PENTAGON CHIEF ROBERT MCNAMARA DIES
Former US defence secretary Robert McNamara has died at the age of 93.
He died in his sleep at his home in Washington DC after suffering failing health for some time.
McNamara held the position of defence secretary during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis, serving under presidents John F Kennedy and Lyndon B Johnson.
He was also an architect of the US policy of nuclear deterrence.
Before becoming Pentagon chief in 1961, McNamara was the president of Ford Motor Company, turning the company around in the post World War II era.
After leaving the Pentagon he went on became president of the World Bank.
When he left office he was the longest-serving US defence secretary.
He is most famously associated with his role as key architect of the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1968.
This left him the target on many anti-war critics and later, in his memoirs, he wrote of his regret over his role in the war.
Following his retirement from the World Bank in the early 80s he also championed the cause of nuclear disarmament.
