A photographer captured the incredible moment a seal photo-bombed a shot of the Milky Way.

Photographer Stephen Ippolito, 45, regularly takes photos of the Milky Way, and was pleasantly surprised to see a seal photo-bombing his perfect shot.

Stephen was setting up his camera, whilst waiting for friends to arrive, when he saw something moving on the sand.

To his surprise it was a seal, basking on the sand. The seal began to waddle closer to Stephen and he decide to capture the perfect moment.

Artist Spends 2,000 Hours Hand Stitching Jewellery Campaign
An artist has spent nearly 2,000 hours hand stitching jewellery designer Georg Jensen's spring/summer 2012 jewellery campaign.

Inge Jacobsen stitched over eight campaign pictures of Danish supermodel Freja Beha Erichsen along with the help of students from The Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court.

The Danish-Irish artist was personally asked by the reputable Georg Jensen to help with his summer campaign, since her cross-stitching technique has earned her critical acclaim.

The images of Freja Beha Erichsen from Jensen's 2011 winter campaign were used and rebooted with Inge's cross-stitching.

Nimble-fingered Inge stitched over four small images and four large ones by hand and the works were executed in fully stitched and partly stitched versions.

They will be exhibited at the Georg Jensen flagship stores during this season's Copenhagen Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week.

Inge said: "I was overjoyed when I heard from Georg Jensen. I used to live in Denmark so it was an honour to be asked by one of their well-known and respectable jewellery designers to help with their campaign.

"We both felt like it would be a great fit because my work involves using a traditional craft in a modern context and they are still using traditional methods to create their ultra-modern pieces. I visited their Head Office in Copenhagen earlier this year and they showed me the workshops where some of their silver-wear pieces are being made by hand. It is so nice to see a relatively large company continuing with the old traditions in their country of origin."

Jensen designs a wide range of gold, silver and diamond jewellery, luxury watches, iconic silverware and flatware and contemporary home-ware. There are 100 stores around the ...
