The Light Ring by new French luxury technology brand SPKTRL uses artificial intelligence to limit how often the wearer is interrupted by alerts from their smartphone.
It applies filters so only urgent messages get through.
The ring uses colour to communicate with wearers who are able to personalise the device.
For instance, the perfectly colourless diamond may light up a soft blue to indicate a message from a loved one, while a vibrant magenta might indicate a critical work update.
