Whilst London's famed 'Horseguards', arrive at Whitehall today, for the Changing of the Guard ceremony, the War Office building (in background), is undergoing a cleaning experiment. The building housed in a polythene 'cocoon', is being cleaned and painted by London Stone, who cleaned Nelson's Column. They are experimenting in cleaning the facade of public buildings in any kind of weather, to prove that exterior maintenance work can be carried out on buildings during the winter months, London, England.
