A Republic of Korea reconnaissance Marine dives off a CH-53E Super Stallion at the Sattahip district in the Chonburi province, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 12, 2018. Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466 ‘Wolfpack’ supported helocast training with the U.S., Thai, and ROK Marine Corps reconnaissance teams. The CH-53E Super Stallion is assigned to HMH-466, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, currently forward deployed under the unit deployment program with MAG-36, 1st MAW, based out of Okinawa, Japan. Exercise Cobra Gold 2018 is an annual exercise conducted in the Kingdom of Thailand held from Feb. 13-23 with seven full participating nations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. A Soldier with the 95th Engineer Company (Clearance), 130th Engineer Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, jumps out of a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter belonging to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 (HMH-463) during helocast operations training January 25, 2018 at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Throughout the training, the Soldiers simulated being inserted into a military area of operations by exiting an aircraft just above the water’s surface.
