Hugo Chavez's Venezuela
In President Hugo Chavez's Venezuela, where images of infamous Argentine revolutionary, Che Guevara are becoming almost as ubiquitous as those of Chavez himself, opinions are split as to the success of his 'Bolivaran Revolution.' Supporters of the nation's current government point to the recent empowerment of the poor, while critics contend that Venezuela has become nothing more than the younger sibling of the Cuban Revolution, ruled by an autocratic leader who has bungled the economy. ///
