Foreign volunteer fighters against ISIS, Kurdistan, Northern Iraq - Feb 2016
FULL COPY: http://www.rexfeatures.com/nanolink/s9pq
British photojournalist Rick Findler spent ten days embedded with Qalubna Ma?kum - a group of foreign volunteers who have teamed up with the Peshmerga in Kurdistan, Northern Iraq to help them in the fight against Daesh AKA ISIS. Here, he recounts his experiences.
........
Kat, a 29-year-old volunteer fighter based here in Kurdistan, started the Qalubna Ma?kum volunteer organisation when she arrived back in December last year. The name - literally meaning ?our hearts are with you? in Arabic - was thought of after many hours of deliberation by Kat, her French boyfriend Guillaume and medic Michael Wagnon.
Kat is currently talking about how she used to use sky diving as her ?zen? to cope with the very boring free time she had in California after her seven year stint in the United States Army.

Anti austerity graffit art in Athens
July 15, 2015 - Athens, Greece: Mural painting of boot squashing man with Swastika arm band giving Nazi salute. giving Anti-austerity graffiti in central Athens. Athens is a city covered in graffiti - from the careless squiggle to full-on masterpieces, the concrete surfaces of the Greek capital are frequently adorned with spray pain. Graffiti is as old as the city itself. In ancient times, it was carved into buildings; in fact, the word is root in the Greek graphi (to write). During the Nazi occupation, the civil war and the 1967 Junta, political graffiti was common in the capital. Today is no exception as graffiti artists take to the street to protest austerity measures disrupting everyday life. (Yannis Kontos/Polaris) (FOTO:DUKAS/POLARIS)

Man dressed in Nazi uniform asked to leave Asda supermarket, Cambridge, Britain - 01 Nov 2013

Man In Full Nazi Uniform Asked To Leave Supermarket
A man was asked to leave a supermarket in Cambridge after deciding to go shopping in full Nazi regalia.
Paul Dutton was spotted browsing the aisles of the Asda supermarket wearing a SS uniform and pushing his young grandson in a trolley.
He was asked to leave by the manager of the store after other customers complained.
According to Paul he has regularly visited the same store in his uniform and swastika armband over the past few years and has never encountered a problem.
Admitting that he 'lives and breathes' everything Adolf Hitler, Mr Dutton's home is filled with images of the Nazi leader and other memorabilia.
He even has a painting showing himself receiving a medal from Hitler, a six-metre cemented swastika in his back garden and a large number of Nazi tattoos.
However, Mr Dutton claims that he has mental health issues and chooses to wear the SS uniform because it keeps people away from him.
The father-of-six says he has been on "a cocktail of drugs" to deal with hallucinations and anger issues due to the insomnia he has suffered since having a vasectomy in 2006.

'Hitler' House Becomes Internet Sensation
A house in Wales has become an internet sensation - because it bears a resemblance to Adolf Hitler.
The black slanting roof on the end-of-terrace house in Port Tenant, Swansea bears a likeness to the Fuhrer's slicked down, side-parted hair.
Meanwhile, the front door lintel brings to mind his distinctive toothbrush moustache and the small top windows his eyes.
The house's unusual looks were first commented upon by Twitter user Charli Dickenson.
According to Ms Dickenson she snapped a picture of the house while driving past it with her boyfriend.
When she commented on it on Twitter it was then picked up by comedian Jimmy Carr, which ensured that it became one of the site's most discussed topics.
The house belongs to a pensioner who is said to be baffled by all the attention.

GERMAN EMBASSY FURNISHINGS PREPARED FOR AUCTION: RIBBENTROP PLANS FOR "AFTER VICTORY".
The entire remaining contents of the former German Embassy in Carlton House Terrace have now been removed to Earl'sCourt, and are being catalogued for auction by Messrs. Knight Frank and Rutley. There are some curious indications of Ribbentrop's schemes when he occupied the Embassy as German ambassador. A wireless transmitter set was found in a penthouse on the Embassy roof, and in a desk was found a set of charts listing the names of all British warships and their movements in 1937. Portraits of Hitler and some flags have also been found, which seem to have been designed for distribution after the capture of London.
The auctioneer will be Mr Guy Coleridge, an ex army officer, who is a partner in he firm of Messrs. Knight Frank and Rutley. His wife, Mrs Coleridge, is assisting to catalogue the effects.
