EXCLUSIVE: December 28th, 2025 -Rehovot, Israel: Nimrod Cohen, 21, an IDF soldier was abducted to Gaza on October 7, 2023, during the Hamas attack on the Israeli communities near the Gaza strip. Cohen who served in a tank crew was positioned with his tank between kibbutz Nir Oz and Kibbutz Nirim and headed towards the border fence but was ambushed by Hamas and disabled. Cohen was dragged from the tank and abducted. The other tank crew soldiers were killed on the same day. After 738 days in captivity Cohen was released, on October 13th, 2025.
