World's Most Disgusting Treats At Grisly Cake Shop
It may seem a self-defeating idea, but a new cake-shop aims to turn the stomach of its customers.

The Eat Your Heart Out pop-up cake shop will offer some of the most grisly-looking 'treats' in the world.

Expertly-twisted bakers have created a range of cake-based products featuring realistic wounds, stitches and even chocolate hacked-off body parts filled with rum.

There are also fanciful depictions of the mythical kraken sea monster, including a blood-red mouth of kraken complete with a 100 individual hand-made chocolate teeth.

But perhaps most stomach-churning of all the delicacies is an interactive maggot extraction cupcake, which allows for mango flavoured maggots and puss to be removed with tweezers prior to eating.

Like Two Peas In A Pod
It would appear that orangutan mother Mali has found the perfect way to keep her infant son quiet - by filling his mouth with food!

And little Tatu wasn't the only one enjoying a snack - with hungry Mali apparently keen to see just how many pea pods she could fit into her mouth in one go.

Knowing that the legumes are a favourite of Mali, keepers at Paignton Zoo in Devon sprinkled them on the grass in her enclosure for her to find.

And with little Tatu clinging onto her fur it didn't take Mali long to gather up the tasty treats.

They then proved to be the perfect distraction when 5-month-old Tatu began to have the grizzles; though he wasn't able to fit quite as many in his mouth a mum was.

At one point Mali stuffed handfuls of pea pods into her mouth to free up her hands so that she could go climbing.

When Mali gave birth to Tatu earlier this year he was the first orangutan to be born at the zoo in 16 years.

Eagles Have Something To Crow Over
Oi you, give us a bit!

This hooded crow may be four times smaller than a white-tailed eagle, but it didn't stop it from demanding some of the bird of prey's fish supper.

The brave crow was spotted tugging on the tail feathers of the eagle in an effort to move it away from the tasty fish it had caught.

Wildlife photographer Will Nicholls captured the moment the plucky bird demanded its fair share as the sea eagle feasted in a field in Hungary.

The white-tailed eagle is Europe's biggest bird of prey.

Will comments: "These huge, majestic birds are the fourth largest raptors in the world and they don't let you forget it, displaying their seven foot wingspan in flight.

"Due to heavy rain an area of the field was flooded and the eagles weren't the only birds at the water; a hooded crow paused there too.

"The hooded crows are very brave, even tugging on the eagles' tail feathers to try and move them off the fish.

"However, the only time an eagle will move on from its fish is when another eagle wants a piece of it too".

Due to this the hungry crow could merely watch from the sidelines as the sea eagles got to chow down.

Otter catches and eats a fish by the River Bure, Norfolk, Britain - 12 Dec 2012
It may have been the coldest day of the year so far but that didn't stop this otter from diving into the icy depths to catch a some supper. And once it had snared a tasty fish it climbed out of the freezing River Bure in Norfolk to enjoy its meal on the icy bank. The creature didn't seem to mind who was watching as it made a bloody meal of his prey in front of astonished walkers. Local photographer Jeremy Durkin captured the moment. He comments: "Watching him in action was astonishing. He's a brilliant predator, the fish didn't stand a chance. I heard one walker call him the Beast from the East because there was blood flying everywhere. It was absolutely freezing but he kept diving back in for more until he was full. He's certainly a better fisherman than me".

    Read My Incredible Lips
If you want to learn about the art of make-up then all you need to do is read these lips.

The lip smackingly good photos were taken by renowned fashion & beauty photographer Alistair Cowin.

They showcase the creative talents of would-be make-up artists from the NEW College in Worcestershire.

Over his 30 year career Alistair has photographed the world's most beautiful women and has worked on campaigns for many top designers and big cosmetic brands, such as Clarins.

Keen to share his knowledge with the artists of the future, Alistair approached Ruth Hancox, NEW college's head of beauty, with a collaborative idea.

Ruth's students would design and carefully execute a host of weird and wacky lip designs, which Alistair would then capture in all their glory.

The attraction, Alistair says, was the chance to work with the next generation of make-up artists and "push their creative boundaries".

The idea was for each lip to tell a story, using texture, colour, light and shade to motivate unique moods and thoughts.

The exercise raised particular difficulties for the students involved, who had to take onboard Alistair's tips regarding the relationship between the beauty photographer and the makeup artist.

With their finished designs being photographed in high resolution, the students had to focus very carefully on application as any slip would have been immediately obvious.

As such, each student started off with a base colour before painstakingly bringing their design to life on their model's pout - adding further colours and accessories ranging from glitter to baked beans!
