Veteran racehorse Morestead models the world?s first authentic Harris Tweed suit designed for a racing horse, which has been specially commissioned by William Hill to celebrate the opening of this year?s Cheltenham Festival. The tweed suit was designed by former Alexander McQueen apprentice Emma Sandham-King and unveiled by 20-time champion jockey Sir Anthony McCoy. Statistician Dr Geoff Ellis found that on average 200 miles and seven furlongs (321.5km) of tweed are worn every year by spectators every year at Cheltenham Festival, which is enough to stretch from Cheltenham to Ireland. A Highchair Fit For A Prince
An award-winning English furniture maker has created a unique highchair for little Prince George.
Created by Katie Walker, the highchair will be presented to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge next month.
It will be the young Prince's first proper chair and at six months old the third-in-line to throne will be strong enough to sit up on his own.
The simple wooden chair is fashioned from rippled ash felled on the Longleat estate twelve years ago and is described as "a masterpiece of modern design and carpentry."
Complete with a safety harness, the three-foot tall chair will be a gift from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
Katie comments: "We were on a shortlist of five designs for the Royal highchair and we were thrilled to win such a commission - it a chance to create a real piece of history.
"It took three months to make from start to finish - the wood is twelve years old and has a wonderful finish. The chair was designed as functional piece of furniture - the back curves around the body for comfort and provides a sense of containment.
"The curve also allows allows the front legs to flow seamlessly together and the whole thing was finished with white tinted wax oil to protect it.
"It was designed with longevity in mind - it is a highchair but can also be used without the restraining as His Royal Highness grows.
According to Katie it is impossible to put a price on the highchair as it is unique.
Apart from the Royal commission, award-winning Katie, 44, also works for corporate, government and private clients producing bespoke pieces of furniture
Speaking about her work, she says: "The quality of life is enhanced by beauty in the everyday functional objects that we use.
"I am inspired by an ongoing interest in the mathematical aspects of natural forms ...

Royal Wedding: The Locals With The Hottest Invite In Town
When Prince William and Kate Middleton walk down the aisle they will do so in the presence of a host of VIP guests.
Famous faces and dignitaries from royalty, politics and the world of entertainment will all sit shoulder to shoulder in Westminster Abbey for the nuptials on 29 April.
Alongside them will be a number of lesser known faces - that is unless you grew up in the village of Buckleberry in Berskhire.
In keeping with the idea of a 'people's wedding' a number of residents from Kate's home town have been invited to the grandest event of the year.
As such a butcher, a shopkeeper and his wife, a pub landlord and a postman will all share in Kate and William's big day.
Shopkeeper Chan Shingadia and his wife Hash are one of the lucky number to receive a gold-embossed wedding invitation.
The couple runs Peaches Stores, where Kate is a regular, in the village
Commenting on their invite, Chan said: "I can't express my feelings - complete shock, superb, brilliant".
Despite being delighted by the invite it has thrown up one problem - what to wear.
However, after checking with Kate's dad that it would be ok, Hash is now planning to don a sari on the big day.
Much to his amazement pub landlord John Haley, who runs the Old Boot Inn in Stanford Dingley, will also be attending the ceremony.
The 55-year-old has known the Middleton family for more than 14 years and Kate and William have enjoyed a drink at the pub a number of times over the past year.
While he is enjoying the festivities first hand his pub will be holding a special 'wedding day' party, complete with BBQ, live music and best hat competition.
Other locals invited to the wedding include butcher Martin Fidler, who has run Bladebone Butchers for nearly 30 years.
Speaking about the upcomi...

Prince William and Kate Middleton on a pheasant shoot, Windsor, Berkshire, Britain - 18 Dec 2007
Prince William proved that his relationship with Kate Middleton is very much back on when the couple were spotted getting cosy on a bird shoot.
The 25-year-old royal hugged and kissed on a Christmas shoot in Windsor Great Park on Tuesday (18 Dec).
The pair were dressed in traditional green tweeds, with Kate, 25, in a fetching brown fur hat to protect against the cold.
Both smiling broadly they both helped to gather up the pheasants they had bagged, and at one point the prince walked over to Kate and gently stroked her neck.
The day out was William's Christmas gift from his grandmother The Queen.

'Twilight' fan covers body in tattoos of the film's stars, Reading, Berkshire, Britain - 13 Nov 2012
Twilight superfan Cathy Ward has spent GBP 7,500 pounds and 83 hours covering her body in tattoos of the Vampire film stars.
Cathy, 51, had permanent reminders of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Nautner inked across her back after the first film was released. However, she has now added to her tattoo collection with the Cullen crest on her chest and portraits of the characters Carlisle Cullen, Jasper Hale and Renesmee Cullen inked down both arms. And the supermarket worker is not stopping there with plans to have a portrait of the whole Cullen family and the Volturi on her legs. She said: "I want to have a body suit done, everywhere except my face and hands will be covered head to toe in Twilight. "That's the aim depending on how much pain I can stand. "It's probably going to cost another GBP 15-20,000 pounds and three to four years of work."
