A 4-year-old boy sustains a stab wound to the chest and is transported to Stroger Hospital, where he is pronounced dead. A 10-year-old boy sustains a stab wound to the right arm and is transported to Stroger Hospital in serious condition. A 13-year-old girl sustains multiple stab wounds to the face, chest, and back, and she is transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition. Responding officers render aid to the victims after gaining entry into the residence. A 31-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man from an adjacent residence are transported to Stroger Hospital in fair condition for smoke inhalation.
