JOHN TERRY'S POSITION IN DOUBT
While Chelsea and England captain John Terry's private life has been making all the back and front pages of the newspapers, he let his head do the talking in his professional life on Saturday afternoon, nodding home his team's winner in their 2-1 away victory against Burnley.
Allegations are rife throughout the press - now that the court super-injunction gagging the media has been lifted - that Terry, 29, had an affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the girlfriend of his former Chelsea teammate Wayne Bridge, despite Terry being a married father-of-two. None of the parties involved have denied the rumours.
There have been widespread calls for Terry to lose his position as captain of the national football team before this year's World Cup in South Africa, claiming Terry prolific and lucrative job makes him a role model for younger generations and one which has been tarnished by this affair.
This is not the first time Terry has been rumoured to have cheated on wife Toni: past reported conquests include glamour models Linsey Dawn Mckenzie and Alicia Douvall.
His family have also been tainted by scandals: newspapers have published stories allegedly uncovering his mother as a shoplifter and his father as a small-time cocaine dealer.
Model Perroncel, no longer girlfriend to Wayne Bridge, who is currently playing for Manchester City, is the mother of his son Jaydon Jean Claude Bridge.

BOXER WITH BREAST IMPLANTS BANNED FROM THE RING
A model-turned-boxer has been banned from fighting - because of her breast implants.
Sarah Blewden, 25, has been told that repeated blows to her false breasts could knock them out of shape and damage her breast tissue.
Now boxing chiefs won't allow her to compete - dealing a knock-out blow for her hopes of competing in the Olympics in the future.
Sarah had surgery in 2003 to take her chest size up to a 32C from a 32B and to boost her modeling career.
She turned to boxing two years ago as a way of keeping fit but realised she had a natural talent for it.
Sarah, who runs a successful hair salon, applied to the Amateur Boxing Association (ABA) so she could compete in the ring.
She was stunned when she was told she wasn't allowed to due to her implants.
A medical expert from the association said Sarah's chest was at risk of 'capsular contracture' or distortion if her breasts were repeatedly hit.
Blood cells in the breast tissue pushed forward by the implants could also be harmed, it was ruled.
Sarah, from Poole, Dorset, said: "I think it is just ridiculous. My surgeon said they make me no more vulnerable than any other woman. They are not enormous ones - they are in proportion.

Artist Keira Rathbone's typewriter, Artist Keira Rathbone (25) from Poole, Dorset, is exhibiting her remarkable 'drawings' that she has produced using a typewriter - Keira spends up to 90-hours sketching with her typewriter using thousands of letters and punctuation marks to create an image
Keira Rathbone's typewriter art, Poole, Dorset, Britain - 15 Jan 2009
STUDENT STRIKES GOLD WITH TYPEWRITER ART
Proving that sometimes pictures are indeed worth a thousand words artist Keira Rathbone creates these amazing works of art using nothing by a typewriter.
Keira, a university graduate in fine art, can spend up to 90 hours to produce one of her pictures - using a variety of letters and punctuation marks time and time again in order to create the image.
According to the 25-year-old dashes and apostrophes are best for creating buildings and views, while brackets help create the perfect face when 'typing' portraits.
When creating a piece, she uses her right index finger to bash out each of the letters or symbols, while her left hand winds the paper up and down.
Unlike writing a normal letter, Keira does not work left to right and from the top of the page down; instead she focuses on producing individual sections of the image one at a time.
Using this technique Keira has produced detailed pictures of celebrities such as Tom Hanks, Cherie Blair, Kate Moss and Nicole Kidman.
