Greedy Boris, a rare Green Sea turtle named by the Mayor of London himself, received his favourite festive feast at the Sea Life London Aquarium today - a tiered platter of sprouts served by a besuited waiter. For many, sprouts are the most dreaded part of Christmas dinner and are often left behind - contributing to environmentally unfriendly Christmas food waste. So, aquarists at the South Bank attraction have declared a Sprout Amnesty, requesting that people who usually ditch theirs bring them in for the turtles to enjoy. "Both of our resident Green Sea turtles have a very healthy diet made up of lettuce, brocolli and cucumber, and sprouts are an extra special festive treat that they enjoy," commented curator Jamie Oliver. "Unlike Boris, we know that for most people sprouts are the worst part of Christmas dinner, so rather than waste them we urge people to bring them in and put them in our specially marked 'Sprout Amnesty' box - Boris and Phoenix will make sure they don't go to waste!"

An artist has bought to life the visions he sees in the sky.
In a project called Cloud Shaping, Madrid-based Martin Feijoo sketches quirky interpretations of what he observed on a visit to Mexico.
"I started Shaping Clouds during my trip to Mexico last summer. I spent a lot of time on the road, so I admired the landscapes very often, for a long time each time. One day I began to notice that cloud shapes was not like the clouds of Madrid: the sky was clear and the clouds were huge, misshapen and always changing.
"At the same time I remembered that idea someone told me when I was a child about the origin of the cloud shapes and, right there, both thoughts merged, so I started photographing clouds that seemed to me like something."

Sensational Scotch Tape Sculptures
Artists have been thinking outside the box with sensational sculptures made from Scotch packing tape.
The brand's annual contest has seen amazing entries including a life-size mermaid and full-scale car.
The U.S. firm set customers the challenge of creating imaginative art pieces just using rolls of the sticky tape.
Over a hundred entries, and 30,000 votes later, Jake Longenecker from Manheim, Pennsylvania scooped the $5,000 cash prize with Free Fallin', a skydiver made from 15.5 rolls of tape and inspired by WWII era paratrooper.
Jake explains: "My objective was to capture the action and intensity of such a simple and graceful act, such as falling through the sky. I accomplished this by uniformly wrapping parts of my own body with tape, which were later assembled into the skydiver."
Abigail Colety from Austin, Texas, won $1,000 as runner-up for Game Night, a depiction of two people playing draughts made using 9 rolls of tape.
Other entries included a bicycle, Spider-Man, Michelangelo's Creation of Adam, a ballerina on a tightrope and several dogs.

Artists have been thinking outside the box with sensational sculptures made from Scotch packing tape.
The brand's annual contest has seen amazing entries including a life-size mermaid and full-scale car.
The U.S. firm set customers the challenge of creating imaginative art pieces just using rolls of the sticky tape.
Over a hundred entries, and 30,000 votes later, Jake Longenecker from Manheim, Pennsylvania scooped the $5,000 cash prize with Free Fallin', a skydiver made from 15.5 rolls of tape and inspired by WWII era paratrooper.
Jake explains: "My objective was to capture the action and intensity of such a simple and graceful act, such as falling through the sky. I accomplished this by uniformly wrapping parts of my own body with tape, which were later assembled into the skydiver."
Abigail Colety from Austin, Texas, won $1,000 as runner-up for Game Night, a depiction of two people playing draughts made using 9 rolls of tape.
Other entries included a bicycle, Spider-Man, Michelangelo's Creation of Adam, a ballerina on a tightrope and several dogs.

Wet And Wild Photographer Captures Surfers In Action
This stunning collection of photos captures some of the world's elite surfers in breathtaking locations.
The awe-inspiring shots were taken at beaches ranging from well-known wave havens to secret spots kept closely guarded secrets by the sport's top stars.
Photographer Brian Bielmann has spent more than 30 years travelling to far flung corners of the world in search of the perfect photo.
The most dramatic image shows the moment a surfer is almost decapitated as a jet ski flies past his head and misses him by just inches.
It was taken in Tahiti, where the waves are so big the only way to ride them is to be towed into them by jet ski.
World-renowned surfer Raimana van Bastolaer asked his friend Reef McIntosh to tow him into the wave.
However, it was the first time Reef had ever tried to do a ski pull and when the tow rope was released the wave started to pull the jet ski over the lip.
Brian said: "Reef jumped off the ski and as Raimana rode through the tube of the wave, the ski got sucked over his head, missing him by inches.
"Raimana made the wave although he was nearly decapitated. Reef got sucked over with the wave and slammed into the water.
"The ski was destroyed but thankfully everyone was ok."
Brian's favourite shot was also taken in Tahiti, in Teahupoo, where some of the world's biggest waves break.
Brain said: "This photo was taken when the waves were huge. The surfer CJ Hobgood somehow managed to ride this incredible wave.
"I've never seen anything like it. It was a beautiful moment and when he landed it he was standing perfectly in the barrel.
"I consider this the most beautiful wave I have ever shot with a surfer on it."
