Natasha Jonas: 'I had dreams of winning the World Cup ... then I was back to my nan's'
The British boxer Natasha Jonas on making history, stepping up to manage men in the ring and how she overcame football heartache to realise her sporting ambition.

Natasha Jonas has recorded so many historic milestones as a woman in boxing that it seems strangely jolting when she remembers a time that her appearance in the ring was greeted with disdain. Last month she made yet more history when she became the first black woman to be granted a managerial licence in British boxing.

Boxer Natasha Jonas who has become the first Black woman boxing manager whilst still being a World Champion. Training at Joe Gallaghers Gym in Moss Side, Manchester.
Natasha will defend her IBF Welterweight title against Ring Junior lightweight World champion Mikaela Mayer on Januaury 20th 2024 in Liverpool, UK.
