    He may look fierce but Great Dane Rocky has proven that he has a soft centre after taking on the role of foster mum to this tiny deer.

    The pair have become inseparable after tiny doe Cindy was brought into the Secret World Animal Rescue Centre in Somerset after she was found abandoned.

    Nine stone Rocky, who belongs to one of the centre's employees, has proven to be a dear himself after forming a heart-warming bond with the little orphan.

    He now keeps a careful eye on the youngster as she totters around the centre and is quick to rush to her side whenever he is needed.

    ALL THINGS GREAT (DANE) AND SMALL

    He may look fierce but Great Dane Rocky has proven that he has a soft centre after taking on the role of foster mum to this tiny deer.

    The pair have become inseparable after tiny doe Cindy was brought into the Secret World Animal Rescue Centre in Somerset after she was found abandoned.

    Nine stone Rocky, who belongs to one of the centre's employees, has proven to be a dear himself after forming a heart-warming bond with the little orphan.

    He now keeps a careful eye on the youngster as she totters around the centre and is quick to rush to her side whenever he is needed.
