At the Royal Hotel, Woburn Place, London, today the preliminary judging was held in the Mr Universe contest to find the best developed man in the world, organised by the National Amateur Bodybuilders' Association. Competitors came from Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Burma, Egypt, France, India, Poland, South Africa, Spain and Turkey as well as all over the British Isles.

Competitors this year will come from all over the world as well as from all over the British Isles. One of the judges of the contest is lovely Joan Hunt, of Pensby, Cheshire who is Miss Britain. The finals of the competition will be held at the Scala Theatre this afternoon.
