    CHINESE REVOLUTION AT SAATCHI RE-OPENING

China is leading the way once again at the re-opening of London's giant Saatchi Gallery.

After a three-year closure the gallery has re-opened its doors in a new venue with the inaugural exhibition "The Revolution Continues: New Art From China".

Featuring some 30 of China's leading young artists, the show promises to be a "cutting edge survey of recent painting, sculpture and installation."

The Gallery was evicted from its original home at the County Hall on London's Southbank in 2005 after a row with the building's owners.

Now found at the Duke of York Headquarters building in Chelsea the Gallery has 70,000 square feet (6,500 square metres) of floor space to play with.

Due to this, it claims to be the only free entry contemporary art museum of its size in the world.

One of the more unusual exhibits on display in its opening exhibition is "Old Persons' Home" by Sun Yuan and Peng Yu. This satirical work features wheel-chair bound models of old people, many of whom bear some resemblance to world leaders, trundling aimlessly round the space they inhabit.

In another room sits a huge pile of fake excrement that contains hundreds of toy soldiers. By Liu Wei, "Indigestion II" has been described as "a man-sized statement of rejection... leaving no detail to the imag...

91-YEAR-OLD TRAPPED IN MUDDY POOL FOR 10 HOURS

A 91-year-old grandmother got stuck in muddy pond for more than 10 hours until firefighters came and rescued her.

The woman in question, Mrs Wang, of Chongqing, slipped into the muddy pool and became trapped in the silt when she went out for a walk after dinner one evening and got lost.

She comments: "I followed a group of people and walked to this wild area and slipped into the pool. I cried for help but because of my weak voice they didn't hear it."

Wang was only discovered the next morning at 7am when a local resident named Mrs. Liu passed the pool and spotted her.

Mrs Liu comments: "I shouted at her, but she did not respond just looked at me tiredly."

She then called police who in turn informed the local fire brigade.

"When she saw us coming she struggled but got sucked deeper," said fire fighter Han Weike.

Fire fighters first tried to pull Mrs Wang out but due the super sticky nature of the mud they were unable to free her.

Their second idea was to shovel the silt away while draining the pool water. However this plan had to be scrapped because it would take too long.

"She was extremely tired and started to twitch," said Han.

Fire fighters finally used high pressure water torches to blow away the silt around Mrs Wang so that they could pull her out.

She was then sent to hospital for treatment and emerged relatively unscathed from her ordeal.

Check out the heavy metal on these celebs.

With such beefy bangles weighing them down these fashion forward stars have no need for the gym.

Instead their cumbersome cuffs and ample arm bands are more than enough to build some serious muscle.

Dripping with bling and laden down with sparkle these bulky bracelets pack a hefty fashion punch.

Which goes to show that a beefy bangle is one way to make an off the cuff style statement.

If the fashion police were to investigate these stylish stars would all escape without even a slap on the wrist.

Someone wearing the same dress as them!? It's enough to depress any fashion forward starlet.

Picking an outfit already seen gracing the body of another is an occupational hazard when you're a celeb.

But when there's only so many designers looks to go around identikit stars are sometimes inevitable.

And when the inevitable happens comparisons are simply unavoidable.

All a star can do is cross their fingers and hope that they come out top of the frocks.

After all, it doesn't matter who wore it first - it's all about who wore it best.
