An activity marking the start of mass picking of Xihu Longjing tea (also West Lake Dragon Well) was held in Wulong Village on Friday. Xihu Longjing tea, as a variety of green tea produced in a certain area in Hangzhou of Zhejiang Province, is renowned by its high quality and unique flavour. The production of Xihu Longjing totaled 494.94 ton in 2010 with an output value of 68.422 million Yuan (some 10.37 million U.S. dollars).
